We follow the "Make to Order" production systems where we manufacture the products only after receiving an order from a customer.
The normal process or life Cycle of our product manufacturing goes as below:
A. RAW MATERIAL SELECTION
The decision of the raw material to be used. We generally use Rubber/Silver wood only. This depends on the type of assignment. Silver wood is mainly used for export quality assignments while rubberwood is used for domestic assignments.
B. DESIGN APPROACH DECISION
A decision on the design approach of the product. This is required mainly in case of custom products required by the client. We do have our own designs of wooden boxes, crates, pallets and we strictly follow them to achieve quality.
C. RAW MATERIAL CUTTING & FINISHING
Use of woodcutter machines for properly cutting the wooden planks or wooden blocks into sizes as required by product specifications.
These planks are finished or processed through the planning machine to obtain a smoother surface mainly in the case of export quality requirements. In case of Plywood boxes, this is generally required for the side buttons that are used to give strength to the side of plywood boxes.
D. NAILING AND MANUFACTURING
All the sides in case of boxes/crates and the upper/lower deck boards, blocks in case of pallets are then properly nailed using manual workmanship or using the nail stamping machines. In case required by customer or by the assignment requirements, we do use the Plastic paper to protect the shipping material from water.
All the six sides in case of box/crate are then packed together to form the rigid cubical structure that can now hold the weight of the material to be shipped. In case customer demands the material to be given loose we do not follow this step of packaging the box at our works rather at the client site during actual onsite packaging.
F. CHEMICAL TREATMENT AND STAMPING
In case of export quality requirements the Material used undergoes chemical treatment, fumigation treatment to avoid unnecessary effects(such as fungi) on the wood. We even provide the products with silica gel bags that help to avoid moisture effects. In case of the export requirements product parts are stamped with the PEST CONTROL ASSOCIATES CODES. We also stamp the product using the stamps that allow easy understanding for Front, Rear sided by using proper arrow stamps. We provide the necessary certificates of the treatment from our pest control associates.
G. QUALITY CHECK
All these steps are followed by a manual quality check by senior skilled workers and supervisors before the product is set for release to the customer. During this process, we strictly use the best raw material available in the market.
